This is a very amateur attempt with oil paints. I always wanted to paint Lord Ganesha. This was started some four years back and saw it's final form recently.
Trust me Saikat I had a tough time making sure that it did not look like it was made by some 8 year old... I hope I did some decent job.. and oil paints is a tough medium to deal with though it is definitely a powerful medium.What I like about it is if you spoil something just wait for it to dry and you can redo the whole thing..
Very colorful. I love the color combination and the eye of Lord Ganesha. Beautiful!
